AX2009 – Unable to create Client Sessions

In my current Project , I was unable to login into AX and getting the message  “Unable to start user session . The transaction log for Database XXX is full.Please clear the log and try again.Following is the fix for this error :

  1. Go to Server Configurations file to identify the Database being used .
  2. Login to SQL Mangament Studio  Right Click and Go to Properties of respective Database.
  3. Go to General Tab and get the increase the size of  Transaction Log i.e. the ldf File to allowable size (in MB  depending on hard disk size available on respective Drive on Database server which holds the .Ldf file).
  4. Now login to AX . You should be get a client session successfully.
